I have a LS swap in my 96 civic dx and wish to have a bit better acceleration. I also have a set of GSR gears at my disposal (my trans is non lsd as was the trans the gears came out of). My question is this...... can I put a GSR 3rd and 4th gear in my LS trans and keep the long LS 5th? I know a guy at my local shop that did this in a cable trans, but he says he is unaware if it can be done in a hydro. Thanx you

Yep. But you'll need to use the GSR 3/4 hub/slider/synchros and shift fork.
