I am still in the process of doing the 3rd gear sync, I know for sure that it is an LS trans but I am not sure about the gears. Acura are charging 300 for the gear and sync. But can you for example have GSR 1 and 2 gear, then an LS 3 gear, or LS first and second, then LS third. If anyone knows the sooner the better as i am now changing gear at 1200rpm.

The gears are interchangable, I have a friend with a crx european spec close ratios but has a (us) civic 5th so that he can get good gas mileage.

It can be done.

 

I found out that they are LS gears, but is it worth putting a GSR third gear into the mix?
