i was just wondering about the knock sensor, if im correct its not part of my stock b18b1 wiring harness or is it? i need help with the knock sensor on the conversion its really confusing me. im going to buy a b18c1 head a b18c water pump, a b18c timing belt and a full motor sports conversion kit. i know what to do on everything else but the knock sensor.

 

the LS block has no spot on the block for you put a knock sensor in.. and since youre going ls-vtec you really should tune it, tuning will get rid of CEL for knock sensor IF it comes up which i doubt unless youre running a P30 or P72

 

doing these kind of swaps on 6th gen civic is always best to convert to obd1. obd1 doesnt use knock sensor so you dont have to worry bout it.
