help lost tube! lol

Default help lost tube! lol

for almost a month now my car idling is rereving it self. 900-2100 up n down.. im thinking this is the problem. i found a tube by itself..having no ideas where does it plug in too..and yes, my check engine light is on too!



that tube is connect with the denso thingy... it sucks in air when car is on.. is that the PCV or PVC thing?

its a purge valve for the emissions system. really its an extra part. but you saying you have a CEL and that....rising rate fuel pressure regulator, im assuming your still OBD2 for some reason. i would just put a vacuum cap on the nipple on the intake manifold and call it a day. just go to the dealer and order a new hose, or you can just go get a piece of bulk hose at any autoparts store to hold you over.

yeah im a obd2 y obd1? 00-type-r... but yeah so ur saying to cover up that hole on the tube?

so ur telling me to take that tube off? and yeah its conect to a huge black water bottle look alike thing.. lol soo, take it off and cover up the hole?

**** i confused myself looking at that pic...

me, like i would do is: the thing that is sucking the air (and causing the bad idle), REMOVE IT. then put a vacuum cap on the nipple thats on the intake manifold (or stupidcharger). then your done. emisions parts = extra lol

but the plastic part that is sucking the air (PCV valve) should go to the black box on the back of the motor... that im sure you cant reach with that charger on there...
