Im bouncing off the limiter, 9400. im running 24.5x10x13 at 8lbs of air. They hold just fine.

 

hahaha. whats your 60 ft??? a 2.50. launching at 9400?? is that na??

60 was 1.7..... best on slicks so far is 11.3 at 124... need better motor mounts cant shift into 4 sometimes, massive movement. and my horse power was around 440 at the time.

i really do not mean to give you grief. i will admit that i still do not believe that you are making 500 to the wheels @ 14 lbs of boost, on pump gas with 550 injectors. either someone lied to you or your boost gauge is broken. either way, who cares. i really thought you were joking when you said you launch @ 9400 on 24" slicks. really i did. if you are, you'll net way better tmes(60 ft's in the 1.60's) by bringing that down to about 8000 with about 7-8 lbs of tire pressure. i have been around the track for years and other people who are making major power....and no one launches at 9400. no one. really, i thought you were joking.

Well you are right, i re dyno'd on friday, and with the 550cc's i dyno'd at 440 with 16 lbs of boost and everything else that i said i have... im sorry for missleading, for thats what i thought i had. But how could i get better 60 time going slower? i dont think im spinning and a 1.7 i thought was pretty good? hope to talk more to you on this jinx.. thanks.

 

440 hsp on 550's @ 16 lbs of boost is way more logical. we've made like 380 on 440's. i still think if your making that on 93 octane your gonna have problems. thats just my opinion. you said you run a 10" slick so i still think you should be launching under 9000. depends on your torque and tire pressure. you should be looking for mid to high 1.60's.

 

ill try and dial down the rpm on launch, i just installed a pro start so this should be fun

Isnt this the same guy that said he brought over his 11 sec civic to race the NHRA circuit? Damn, all the way from Hawaii and only run 11s. I remeber Lanny Higa, Kazu Yamaguchi etc. brought over their cars like 2 to 3 years ago in Pomona and they ran low 10s(now that i think is worth bringing over, because they had a chance to win)

 

of coarse its gonna run that slow,just look at the way he's launching it!,with it bouncing off the rev limiter at 9400rpm OMG thats funny,he must be using some new launch control box,i think its called a 1-Step
