what part is this? i just got my H delivered to day and saw this and the next pictures part is broken.

this parts also broken, jus wanna know what they are so i can replace them. thx

 

The first one looks like the TPS, thorttle position sensor. Not sure on the other one.

 

yea.. the box one sits below the Intake Manifold, and is held on my 2 bolts.. has 2 hoses into the side as well as a connector.. and looks like it had 2 hoses on the other side as well... and i just bought a Blox Tps sensor off ebay.. hope they are good.

 

I thought it looked familiar. That's what controls the butterfly valves in the intake manifold; cant think of it's name. I have one laying around, but I want to sell the manifold as a whole. I really need to make a for sale thread.

Just make sure you calibrate the TPS when you put it on. A quick search and you'll learn how.

 

yea for sure i looked in a swap book i had its called the "Vacuum Box" for the IAB.. havent really seen any for sale alone... checked ebay.. i didnt see any or i guess i suck at searching.

for sure, oh and if i get a P72 ecu i dont have to worry about the box do i? or do he Gsr's use the butterfly valves too?... i was told i can jus get the 72 and put an h22 basemap on it. ty for the help in advance.

 

u really dont need the vacuum canister or the butterflys.. they only help with very low rpm and daily drivin..if u dont hook up and vacuum to the butterflys they will run open all the time

 

Yes the GSR's use the dame style of IM. For the most part people get rit of the OEM manifold or if they keep it they end up removing the IAB's.
