if your going to do the rear i would go ahead and pick up the fronts also, for the bigger disks, from the ex or si.

okey. thanks for the respond. so if i get the rear, front brakes with proportioning valve and MC. what would be a good price to pay for these parts? i know that depending where u go to get the parts, prices will be different. but what is a good price? labor is not an issue for me. im able to do my own work but im not big on mods. barely getting into fixing my car and this car is perfect cuz no one in my city(that i know of) has a mod 4dr. civic. thanks!

i can find the rears from 150-300 depeding on the shape, whats included, so i would expect the same for the front.

i would just look around and see what some one is asking and if it seems good to you pick it up, or offer them lower. i would expect 600 or less for everything, or more if you re do brakes.
it pretty simple do this, its just droping the old crap out and puting the new in.

Just about any 92 or newer honda/acura with disc brakes should slide right on.

No 98 and up civic came with rear disk brakes except for the SI.

You'll need the trailing arm/hub assmebly, calipers, rotors, pads, and e-brake cables. It all pretty much just bolts on.

You don't need a new prop valve. All 98 and up Civics have the same 40/40 prop valve.

2dr dx: 46210-S04-902
2dr ex: 46210-S04-962
2dr hx: 46210-S04-902
2dr si: 46210-S04-902
3dr cx: 46210-S04-902
3dr dx: 46210-S04-902
4dr dx: 46210-S04-912
4dr lx: 46210-S04-912

Okay, so then why does the '99 2DR EX and 4DR models have different part numbers if they're the same?

You should trade me your sedan for my EG with rear disc on it already. On top of lots of other things.

I was told by my Honda Dealership as well as by several Honda mechanics that they are all the same 40/40 valve. Other than that, I have no explanation.

nah! thanks. too many eg's around here and they are like the #1 car to be stolen in this area. not only that, im going for something unique. theres egs everywhere u go and most of them about 95% of them are fakers and wannabes.

now this is what is going on my car in order
1-Buddy club p1 racing rims (white)
2-Buddy club racing spec dampers
3-rear disc brake conversion w steel braided lines
4-JDM window visors
5-Nardi sterring wheel
6-fog lights (HID)
7-JDM bumpers
most things are just visuals ex. suspension and brakes but after this i will be planning on a k24a2 engine swap.
so if any comments/pros&cons on this planning feel free to post any ideas
FYI-this is a daily drive and planning to keep it as a daily/ weekend tracker car

They didn't, all had drums, even the EXs with ABS. With the 5th gens EXs with ABS got rear discs.

They're not. '96 - '00 CX/DX(hatch, coupe)/HX/Si are the same, all the rest are different. '98 - '01 Integra which also look identical are different again due to the Integra's larger front brakes.
