Default Snapped off cam cover bolt (H22A)- HELP

Yes I know, what an idot. Just completed my first valve lash adj. using the manual. Managed it ok. Then putting it back together I overtighened one of the cap nuts on the studs. It's the one under the wiring loom plastic thingy. I overtighened it and of course it sheard the top off the stud. Lucky, nothing is leaking.

Q. Do those posts which the cam cover rests on screw out?

Q. How will I fix this?

they are way to soft you would think with a few swaps under your belt you wouldnt do it but still.. you have to really pay attention..

Thanx guys. I was hoping these things were replaceable, and I don't feel as stupid now, seems some other people have done the same.

So a 10mm deep socket will undo the post, and is the new post available from my dealers?

Tim
