Default Help with Viper 5901 on '97 Accord

My brother just bought the 5901 Viper Alarm system and I was going over the installation manual to try to figure everything out but i got a couple questions..

Primary Harness:
1 - Red/White - REMOVE
2 - Red - +12V Constant Input White at the ignition harness
3 - Brown - goes to the red wire of the siren
4 - White/Brown - REMOVE
5 - Black - Ground
6 - Violet - REMOVE
7 - Blue - (-) Trunk trigger orange - gray plug right of column
8 - Green - (-) Door trigger black/white - gray plug right of column
9 - Black/white - must use relay

(FOR MY REMINDER) - White and black are the relays coil, test by touching them to your batt., relay should click, if so connect either one to 12V+ constant and the other to the dome light supervision lead, connect the red lead to chassis ground and the green to the same place you connected the door trigger lead

10 - White/Blue - REMOVE
11 - White - red/black + fuse box, blue plug
12 - Orange - save for future use.

- My brothers car is a '97 SE 4Dr. The alarm is under the seat i think.
I need to know what i do with wire 1 and 2 from this harness.
Auxiliary Harness:
1- Light Green/Black - Factory Alarm Disarm (Where?)
2 - Lt Green/White - Factory Alarm Arm (Where?)
3 - White/Violet - Aux 1 (dont need)
...(etc) Aux 2-3 (dont need)
6 - Light Blue - 2nd unlock (dont need)
7 - Gray/Black - Diesel wait to start (dont need)
8 - Brown/Black - (-)200Ma horn honk output (what is this for if it has a siren?)

- So my car was a '94 accord with only one ignition wire. Apparently, according to 12volt, his car has 2 ignition wires. Would this change the set up for this harness? Do i need to use the 2nd ignition wire?
Heavy Gauge Remote Start Harness:
1 - Pink - (+) black/yellow + ignition harness
2 - Red/White: (+) Remove (+) fused 30A ignition 2/flex relay input 87
3 - Orange: yellow + ignition harness
4 - Violet: black/white ignition harness (car side)
5 - Green: black/white ignition harness (key side)
6 - Red: (+) white + ignition harness
7 - Pink/White: Remove (+) ignition 2/ flex relay output
8 - Pink/Black: Remove (+) flex relay input 87a key side (if required) of flex relay
9 - Red/Black (+) white + ignition harness
10 - N/A

Remote Start Input Harness:
1 - Black/White: (-) Ground this wire with primary alarm ground
2 - Violet/White: fuel injectors
3 - Brown: (+) brake shutdown green/white / driver door sill
4 - Gray: N/O or N/C (-) Hood Pin Switch Input (hood pin supplied)
5 - Blue/White: (-)200mA 2nd status/rear defogger output (how do i do this?)

Remote Start Auxiliary Output Harness: <---no use?
1- Pink/White: (-)200mA Flex Relay Control Ouput
2- Orange: (-)200mA Accessory Ouput
3- Violet: (-)200mA Starter Ouput
4- Pink: (-)200mA Ignition 1 Output
5- Blue: (-)200mA Status Ouput

Door Lock Harness:
1- Blue: (-) Unlock orange - gry conn. above fuse box in blu tape
2-Empty
3- Green: (-) Lock black/white - gry conn. above fuse box in blu tape

Any particular settings i should do on the system after installing?
I noticed on mine that it says you can unlock the doors after disarming the car or at the same thing or something...

(Mine was a 5501 Viper - So no alarm) (BAD BAD mistake) MUST GET ALARM!!!

Thanks for the help!

No. It's going onto an auto. But there is no problem with him having two Ignition wires?

And what do I do with his stock alarm? I don't want it going nuts with the viper alarm in there. ???

Is there anyone that can check where the unlock and lock wires are for a 4dr '97 SE Accord?

Also.. I hooked up the alarm and everything works besides the locks because i dont know where the wires are..

Also.. the alarm doesn't know when the door is opened or anything so it doesn't go off.
When its armed and you open the door. The cars indicator is completely dead and the dome light and door lights are also dead. The alarm doesn't know someone opened the door..
Can someone look over the 5901 installation guide and the car and tell me what wire goes where?

Also.. the dome light output wasn't installed because i got lost on how to install the relay. ><

I think all of that stuff should be wired into the door locking relay system in the drivers side door.

There is a small two wire plug located above the interior fuse box, that is the door lock/unlock for the factory alarm. You can tap into it for the Viper. That's what I used when I installed mine.

*edit*

Where did you tap for your door trigger? If I recall you need to install a relay on the dome light line. I'll have to review my notes.

Greeting

I have a 1999 Honda Accord LX that I am in the process of installing a Viper 5901. I am getting stuck on the heavy gauge wire harness. When I attach all wires that are mentioned in the beginning of this post and plug the harness in the car will not start. I disconnected all the wires and connected them one by one until i noticed that when I connect the Pink Wire thats when the car will not start. Any sugestions on what I can be doing wrong? Please help as I am in the middle of install.

Best regards,

Go to google and type in 12volt. Go to the 1st site and look or your car wiring. It might be slightly different from the 5th gen accord. A 99 is a 6th gen accord.
