are JDM EK front lca's the same as US EK Si?
Do usdm ek civic si's have the same front control arm + swaybar setup as jdm ek's? im looking for energy suspension replacement bushes for the 1 piece front lower control arms found on jdm ek4/ek9. the bushes in the es 96-00 master kit dont fit coz they are for the 2 piece cast control arms.
ive found these product numbers from the si, will these work?
Si 99-00 front lca
16.3115
Si 99-00 front shock mount bushes
16.8111

Egezzy is correct when he says the ES bushings fit EM1 flca.
Besides the overall equal design there are some diffs.
- EM1 flca is not the same as E/JDM flca for all models up to EK4 (like I said the design and overall form is the same but they are diff part nrs)
- EK9 has diff flca than all other EK
Don't ask me the diff cause I don't know
Front swaybar setup at the contrary is exactly the same for EM1, EK4 and EK9; all parts are the same, swaybar is 26mm.

so u can confirm the Si has the 1 piece stamped lca. here in aus all ek's have the same front lca design, just the swaybar thickness differs throughout models, and the CXi doesnt come with a factory swaybar so theres no mounting holes.

Yes. There are only two front EK swaybar thicknesses: 22mm and 26mm. Everything is interchangable.
also to follow up on kristo.s post. the design/geometry is the same but it is a stamped one piece not a cast two piece like the lower models.

phanaus is probably right. why would the us get a nice stamped one piece unit for the em1 but the typeR not get it elsewhere??
plus brandon has like 46 cars soooo he probably has had that lca in his hand. lol.

yeah i see your point. but also put into account that in the us our honda parts dept cannot order "jdm" pieces for the most part. also due to them being different models. so that is why the parts numbers are going to be different. but that is not saying the parts are different just th numbers.
That could be but I doubt it for: EDM and JDM lower EK models (..., EK3, EK4) do have same (lca) part nrs, only EK9 differs. Also the swaybar parts (and several others like body parts) for EM1, all EK4 and EK9 are the same, so ...
Besides, if you need any JDM part I can get it for you

lol. i will let you know when i need something then. lol. but you just said what i have been saying. all the lower models are the same numbers but the "high" end(em1 us/ek9 elsewhere) are a different number. but yes the arb numbers etc will be the same numbers because like we said before the geometry/design of the suspension is the same.
For example I'm running an EDM EJ9 D14A4 with front 22mm swaybar and 262mm front brakes (same front brakes and lca's as EK4) (all stock features).
EDM special cases: early EJ9 models did not come with front swaybar and had 242mm front brakes.
Pic of my frontarm:
soooo the lower models in europe and japan have the one piece stamped model is what you are saying??
ps. a d14???...i got something for you since you need it. lol. TORQUE!!!

But it is equal to our EK3 (d15z6), and with an intake manifold swap (d16y8 im, yes, from the coupé, or d16z6) it gets to 105/110 at most HP (so that's equal to the d16y).
Most you can get out of it (with only bolt-ons, so without changing anything in the engine internally!) is 125HP, so that's not bad for a 1.4l, is it.

Diesel was only introduced with the 7th gen: a 1.7l with a 100HP. Diesel engines don't come in low volume cilindres.
****..i want!!!! what kind of miles or kilometers per hour do they get??
182 km/h
topspeed
11,3 s
0-100kph
Check here for EDM specs (dutch, but you'll figure it out)
Current 8th gen diesel 2.2l 140hp 205top 8.6s
Why are so keen on diesel?
