is it possible to weld to shocks?
just curious if its possible to weld to a shock without messing anything up? the person welding builds mini trucks for a living so I'm not worried about the welds themselves, just the shock
ummm. no i have better things to do right now than to be a dick. im trying to see if there is away around welding to your shock. so i am trying to figure out why you are wanting to weld it! so i have to ask open ended questions. because long story short...you are going to have alot of people tell you not to weld it due to pressurized gases etc..

a detailed question about the issue you're having would help in getting straight to an answer you jack off, right? we might be able to help you get around a potentially dangerous situation with an equally productive solution.
lol there is no need for a detailed question that requires a yes or no answer. I didn't ask for advice nor did I ask for any help with possible ways around it. I just asked is it possible, yes or no. simple as that but I already got my answer
Yes, you can weld on them. You definately need a good welder and even then they can get damaged very easily. If it gets too hot it will push the fluid out and damage the seals.
You are better off going to streetsourcemagazine.com and asking this question in the 'Ask Max' forum. You won't get much help asking those type of questions here.
