NOS will definately help you in the sprints, but if you have 1600 to spend I say go with a good suspension package and intake/header and maybe exhaust, and that should about cover the $1,600.

depends on what you are into...

quarter mile - work on motor and losing some weight
autocross - get with the suspension
stunna - altezza and light up nozzles, LOL!!

you actually have quite a bit of things you can do with $1600... personally i would go with suspension first... but that's only me

spend your money on the suspension first.

Spend an arm or a leg for a Turbo or S/C. Do it right the first time.

YEAH! DON'T ANSWER HIS QUESTION BUT CORRECT HIS SPELLING!! Since that's cool!!

Anyways, for $1600 I would get:

AEM CAI: $200
JDM 4-1: $400
2.5 inch Cat: $200
ITR Springs: $100
Shocks: $400
New tires: $300

2.5 Inch cat! Since that will bolt up to his stock exhaust!
Funny how I'm running a 2.5 inch cat right now and it's bolted TO MY STOCK EXHAUST!!

It's only temporary until I get a custom 2.5 inch exhaust made.

a 2.5" cat will do absolutly NOTHING untill you actually need that size exhaust....and he does NOT need that yet

why not get some suspention, a header, and some cams or something.
Make it an N/A track *****!!!

It will do something. It will let him run a header with a JDM size collector. And if he wants a larger exhaust later, even better.

What track ***** can he make with $1600?
Header: $400
Cams(CTR/ITR): $400 (if he can do the install himself, and no tuning)
$800 for the suspension isn't going to make his car into much of a trackwhore.

I have a turbo right now but I think im going NA.
The sound of VTEC in a B18C1 or bet yet a C5 is the ****.
I think you should get suspension and try to get I/H/E

I must say that is one of the stupidest things you could do.

Putting a B18C5 in car with a phucking D15 isn't such a bad idea, but honestly, why replace a perfectly good DOHC VTEC B-series with one from a Type-R?

You could easily boost the B16 and walk all over stock C5's.

Keep the nitrous man, it's your car, you don't have to listen to this crap...

If u have a nitrous system sitting in your room, might as well use it. I'd only jet it to a 50 shot though. I used to run a 50 shot setup on my Si. This was in conjunction with I/E and gutted trunk. With this setup I beat ITR's(basic mods) and TL Type S'. I have since sold my nitrous sytem to my cousin and am just running a basic I/H/E combo for now. I'm getting my custom Exedy PP/6 puck sprung hub clutch on Tuesday and I might just run another nitrous setup on my Si.
