Hey guys

I've got a EG civic with a gsr motor and won't pass the HC idle portion of emissions but it passes everywhere else.
I've changed:
cat
o2
plugs
wires
cap/rotor
retarded the timing

I'm out of options here and I'm stuck. The car has always passed emissions and the only thing that's changed is I've installed Skunk2Stg2 cams and had them tuned. The car runs well, burns no oil and has great compression.

Any help?

 

There's your answer.. try putting it back to stock with a stock map and you should be good to go...

 

Yeah, that's exactly what I'm thinking.

The problem is, is that plenty of people pass with these cams. In fact, I chose these cams over the Pro1s due to potential emissions issues. However, I don't like these cams as much as my CTRs anyway LOL!

 

well maybe its not the cams alone but a combination of the cams and tune together? different cars, different tunes... if it were me, id probly do that and give it a try but i may be wrong, more input would be nice, as im interested in seeing a solution to this! good luck man...
