Default Clutch Switch plastic thingy majig

So went to walmart, to get some milk. Unfortunately when I went to start the car, no start, no click, so immediately I knew that the clutch switch wasnt getting engaged. Feeling around, I found that the little plastic piece that sticks in the clutch pedal and engages the switch was missing. Now my question is, where can I get one of these without going to the junkyard? Anyone else found an autoparts store that carries something that will work?

Would you mind posting photos of the damaged switch? Did you just jump the connector in the meantime?

yeah, the stealership is usually pretty good on small stuff like that, it's the plastics they get all greedy on.

OK so I just went and bought the dam thing. It was fn 6 dollars for a little tiny piece of plastic. Yes I just jumped the switch in the mean time. Im going to have to pull the pedal of to replace it because I have huge hands and there isnt that much space. Plus While I was down there I notice that my clutch master was spitting fluid out the backside so it needs replaced anyway...I was wondering Why my pedal was so stiff...lol

The price of the new switch wasn't too bad.

My clutch master cylinder leaked the same way. You are lucky to have caught it early before it completely failed. The replacement job is pretty easy, though you may need some help bleeding the system afterward.

(by the way, sorry for the pm problem. I was receiving too many technical pms to answer)

I dont feel like calling the autoparts store, how much is the master going to run me. Im sure it would be hard to fix seeing as how im know as the honda master where Im from. It is kind of a funny story, It was raining and I felt something dripping on me. I thought it was water. low and behold it was brake fluid on my flip flop...LOL I just realized how bad it was when I was trying to get my big a** hand up there to put that little plastic button in for the switch. My hand returned from the black hole, AKA under the dash covered in fluid.
