so i was browsing wikipedia, learning about the history of hondas &****..

i noticed that the RSX began in 2002, with its predecessor, the dc2 integra ending in 2001. from what i understand, in 2001, there were both dc2s AND dc5s being sold; on yahoo images i searched "2001 integra type r" and i got a lot of dc5 type r pics. but there were also some dc2 type r pics. so idk if the dc5 type r was sold in japan only in 01 or what??

im just utterly confused. can someone clear up the story for me thanks.

 

in japan honda integra type r's were available as a dc5r when the 2002 model orders began, which is late 2001, in the us an acura integra type r was an integra dc2r, and that was all. there was no 2001 dc5r ever
