Default 2.3 CL potential

So my dad's 99 CL has been retired recently. The body is perfect. Over 230k miles and I was lookin at all the space under the hood and thought about swap potential. Any ideas about what might work? My first thought was a turbo B18c with A/C. Wasn't sure how much effort it would take to find mounts that would work. Anybody seen this done? I would like to check out something similar before I commit

Also hear the H22 swap isn't too hard. Do they take boost well? If I went with the B18 would I be better off replacing the whole wire harness? same question for the H22

You would be much better off with a H or F series. The B series would probably require all custom mount and such. Not to mention that the H,F's are cable trans cars like you CL. The B series is a linkage car. I would go H22/H23. Thas my opinion. Hope that helps.......

i couldn't agree more. if you really want to boost there's the f20b with its iron sleeves or you can get the h22 sleeved, not sure about the h23

How about an H23A VTEC?
Or you could always throw together a built F22 and boost it.

Sweet. Thanx for the input. I'm a civic owner so the B and D series are kinda what I know. I have always liked the look of the CL and the thought of boosting it just occured to me. It may take some time to get in the works but I like to plan meticulously and pay cash for parts rather than built credit card debt. Once I move forward I'll fill you in and post pics

Oh well. Just found out that my dad found somebody willing to pay a little more for the car. It turns out to be a family friend so I may get it when they don't want it anymore but for now all plans have been cancelled
