Clutch fluid over filled

I've just noticed that my clutch fluid is fill way over the max "ridge" mark on the resevouir. Should I rush out and drain it back to the max mark ?

But, if you must.....use a spoon or even better....a turkey baster.

the liquid that is displaced by pressing the clutch pedal to disengage the clutch.

It's the same as your brake fluid.

yes. use a pump to get it out if your really paranoid.

that extra bit should not matter.
