does anyone have a "how-to" guide on putting a carbon fiber hatch on a ek ? Also wanted to know if its possible to put a CF spoon duckbill on the CF hatch too .

 

pop open your stock hatch, remove the hatch struts, remove the bolts on the hinges where they connect to the body, remove cf hatch from back, install glass/or lexan window, attach to the hinges, attach the hatch struts, your done


and yes the spoon duckbill can be installed on the cf hatch, its just like the stock just carbon fiber, you might have to drill out the holes to mount the wing though

hmm, ive been wondering the same question about re mounting the glass.

 

If you've never done it before, I'd suggest leaving to the glass experts. It's not that easy, especially if you don't have the suction cups to lift it off.

i see the glass guys at work take them out, looks like they take a sharp knife and cut the glue/sealant away and pull the glass out, clean off all the glue of the glass, and reinstall
