k guys i have a 91 ef civic running a b18c with b16 head skunk2 cams and obd1 ecu i took it out tonight and noticed it bogs down as sone a it hits vtec them from 6500 - 7000rpm it pulls hard then bogs again no check light any idea what it may be also i have noticed now that as the car reaches high rev's the tacho meter jumps

Sounds like VTEC is NOT kicking in. Do you have your speedometer hooked up?

vtec is kickin in alright its makin the noise just no pull. Thinkin a fuel problem my self. Yeah the speedo is workin

you can't just throw a bunch of internal parts at an engine and run it with a stock ECU and expect it to make power, this isn't need for speed. Go get your car dyno tuned.

buddy it aint running right you **** its holding back and not reving up properly its like its not getting spark or petrol at certain points

Have you ever heard a VTEC motor not "hitting VTEC" in the relative same RPM range that it is supposed to “kick in”? It sounds like it is actually "hitting VTEC" but quieter and the exact symptoms you are describing.

If you think that there are specific problems do some checking. We can not do it for you.

the engine was running fine . it has been sitting up the last 3 months vtec is coming on alright you can feel and hear the change it just is not pulling as it used to

turned out to be the dizzy got a replacement and then brought it to be dyno'd wit a bit of mapping it made 205whp
