what ecu should i get?

Default what ecu should i get?

im running a jdm b20b right now and its running a auto p06. idk if it is chipped or not though. what would be a better ecu to get?

po6 is good. you can convert it to manual with like 1 or 2 resistors. you can also add vtec to it if you ever slap a vtec head on it. i would recommend haveing it socketed and put a chip for base map b20 in it

i found a b20 ecu for 65 bucks. should i snag that? its a p2e ecu 5 speed

you can use any obd1 ecu.
if you have vtec you need a vtec ecu. or you can add vtec to it
you can convert at to 5spd
the only dif would be the amount of fuel that is put into the motor
thats why i would just get any ecu you have and have it socketed and put a b20 base map in. but for the b20 ecu. take it thats cheap.

yeah it is. but it doesnt matter if you dont have vtec you can still use it

ebay. theres a guy that makes chips for $20. i had plenty and other friends of mine had them also. they work like perfect. you buy the chip. then message him what ecu and you want a b20 base map.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/p28-c...Q5fAccessories

i run a p28 in my b18 with a b16 head. it runs great i would highly recommened it

if you git a p28 you can jest git a phearable.net base map for a 100 bucks and it will be tuned to your sit up thats your best bet
