will a d16y8 block mate to a d16a6 head with out any problems??

Yep it will. But you will need to install the a6's oil control jet into the y8 block. Oh and almost forgot. You need to extend the fan switch wiring from the back of the engine over to the switch will be now located on the thermostat house.

can you get that jet from the dealership... because dont they usually get messed up when you pull them out?

if i recall i think you can like unscrew them out of the block with a screwdriver. but i dont recall its been some time since i did a mini me swap lol

It's usually removed by screwing a screw into it and then pulling on the screw with pliers. It's held in with honda-bond or something.
