Default Civic randomly died and isn't getting fuel

I just pulled out onto the hwy and reached about 35mph then car died. I coast to emergency lane. The car cranks but wont start at all. When I turn the key to on position the cel stays on and doesn't go out like normal and I can't hear the fuel pump priming. I've taken the hard line that goes into fuel filter off and when I crank the car nothing comes out?

So far the main relay tests fine (replaced 4yrs ago)
New fuel pump today
ECU fuse is good
ground at thermostat housing is good
I'm getting a solid cel too

What else do I need to check?

Have you tried to pull codes? Is fuse 31, 24, or 18 blown? Do you also lack spark? Do you have access to a known good ECU to swap in as a test?

If I understand it correctly when I tried to pull a code. The cel never flashed it just stayed on. I'll check those fuses. I've haven't checked for spark because I know I'm not getting fuel. Do I need to check for spark anyways? No, I don't have an ecu to swap.

You have CEL code 0. If you also don't have spark together with code 0, then you surely have a problem with power or ground to the ECU or the ECU is bad. You also might test whether the MAP sensor is getting 5 reference volts from the ECU.

Fuses are good but I'm not getting spark. I'll check map sensor and ground to ECU

Good luck. I hope the thermostat ground wire is just loose or corroded. Clean it 'til its shiny.

It's the YEL/RED wire in the MAP sensor connector that should have 5V when the key is turned to ON(II).

According to the schematics in my manual there is no ground wire in the ecu, unless the unit itself is grounded when bolted down? Is there a way to test the ecu in or out of the car? How do you test whether map sensor has 5 reference volts from ecu? I'll clean the ground on therm. housing.

The ECU has four important ground wires that run to the thermostat housing. They pin here:

A23 - BLK
A24 - BLK
A26 - BLK/RED
B2 - BRN/BLK

Is there a way to test the ecu in or out of the car?
No

Unplug the MAP sensor connector. Turn the key to ON(II). Measure voltage to engine ground from the MAP sensor connector wire that I already mentioned.

i had this similar problem recently. it ended up being the 15 amp acc fuse on the under dash fuse box.

its the one by itself and it should say "ACC" on the box diagram right where the red errow is pointing.
also! dont just check your fuse visually only. that was the error o was making. i had checked that same fuse maybe 2, 3 times visually till i decided to check it with a test light. the fuse looked perfect and was not broken but still was not passing power.

No voltage on any wires going to map sensor with ignition on or off. 15 amp acg fuse tested good. I replaced part of the dizzy internals 2 yrs ago trying to diagnose another issue. That should still be good.

If the YEL/RED wire has continuity between the MAP sensor connector and the ECU, then the ECU is almost surely bad.

Was it the ignition coil that you replaced a while back?

Sorry it took so long to respond back I've been at work ALL day. My brother picked up a used ecu out of a dx today so I swapped it out tonight and the car started right up.
It seems like I've replaced just about everything on this car at least once. I hope its good for awhile...280,XXX and counting!

I believe it was the ignition coil that I replaced.

Thanks for everyone's input.
