Default P2A5 or P2U5?

I know P2A5 is for 94-97 F22B2 and P2U5 is for F22B1
I also know the only difference in gearing ratio is that
the forth in P2A5 is 0.903, and in P2U5 is 0.933

will 0.03 difference make a big difference?

Also, will P2U5 simply bolt on F22B2 block?

I tried to search the difference between those two but I had no luck finding the info i needed.

I'd go for the P2U5 just because it has greater gain..

Really? I did a part number comparison through Majestic Honda parts site and all the gearing has the same part number between an LX and a EX trans. Also, other Accord members told me that there's no difference at all either.

At first of my swap, I started out with my EX tranny then as I took it apart again for a clutch job, I had to buy another lower mile tranny since my first tranny came with the car brand new which now is around 400K. So I got an LX tranny for only 150.00 while other place wanted 300.00 for an EX trans. LOL To be honest, There's no difference between the two and I didn't notice any gear ratio difference.

https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-...2548441/page3/

using this as a guide, the gear ratios appear the same (sedan vs sedan or wagon vs wagon). I cant speak to the technical differences between the two boxes
