Getting my car painted need some tips
I am getting my car painted midori green in a couple days, its already midori but has some bondo patches and the front end is all black from a conversion, so I figured it's time to make it look new again. But I was wondering if I should paint a couple things.
-Should I paint the side moldings? They are black right now.
-Should I paint the side skirt? It is also black.
-Should I paint my side mirrors? Also black.
-Should I paint my black part under my back license plate?
Here is a pic of what it looks like now, any tips would be appreciated!

EDIT: I want to know what you guys think. Should I keep it midori or go for a new color? I REALLY like this color

EDIT 2: I'll be sure to post some pics after I paint it!

personally a car that has everything painted looks super clean but i also like having the black in there to break up all the color so it is basically your personal opinion
keep the wiper its usefull. the some of the Ferio sedans have wipers in japan.. to me the rear wiper is more jdm. They never came on the coupes tho unfortunatly for me
OH and i vote paint everything!

Should I remove all the stuff? Like take the door handle, fenders, bumper, side skirt and stuff off to make it easier for them and also get a better finish? Im worried they wont get those "hard to reach places"

cool.. in that case i would just remove the headlights Door handels trim pieces, and tail lights Keep on the bumpers. The key is that any sharp angle it is easy to hide a different layer of paint. it can be easily blended but something like an area beneth the trim and in the door handels some times the paint can cake in the gaps and when you take them off you just have cracked paint areas. And the headlights and taillights ofcourse are to avoid getting overspreay on them.
Wait i just noticed you have JDM fenders on now.. I would have them take them off that way the area where you bolt the fender to the frame is nice and painted
In that case i would just leave the bumper off it pry will look better to be painted seperatly to .. And if you still have fender liners the fenders being painted seperatly avoids the fender liners from being painted with over sprey

are the door handles hard to remove? The problem is I have to drive the car to the paint place, so im not sure if it's leagal to drive my car around with no bumper, fenders, etc. I could always bring my tools with me to the shop and remove them there.
well the door handles are a little tricky to take out.. if the painter is good you can avoid taking them off but you have to take out like a 10 mm bolt then take some clips out of the lock then the door handle is free. then you detatch the rods connecting to the lock and handle. IT may be worth bringing tools to take it apart for the guy you will like the results better.. The rear trim peices you have to get inside the rear panels but you can do that before you take the car. just take the right and left armrest panels out where the rear passengers would put there crap. Then there are little things you pinch to release the trim from the quater panel. the same goes for the fenders. and you will need to remove your door panel to succesfully remove the door trim plus there is a 10 or 12 mm acorn nut holding the door trim on. You pry know how they are removed i dont know why i just explained it haha i just made sure you had all the info. But yeah Id def remove the stuff there.. results will show it was a good choice!!
oh ok Just making sure he didnt cover rust spots. the Rust grows under the bondo then you have a island of bondo with rust around it. but yeah bond is a body filler so thats good that its just body work not rust work.
WOW :O that is MINT (no pun intended on the color) I wish mine looked that good lol I dont even know where to start with my interior..... Very nice!!
It sucks because I got it from San Diego and the weather is nice there, and I live in the desert where it's over 100 almost every day and dust everywhere, im worried about the inside getting screwed up from the sun/heat.
Eek yeah I dont think it will be to bad as long as you crack the windows.. they make some sort of little battery operated fan they say works pretty good at keeping the inside pretty cool. Plus one of those big sun shades on the windshield. That way nothing fades!
I wish my Steering wheel looked that clean. mines in bad shape at the top.. then my rear seats are sun faded Def need to do something about those sometime soon.. i was thinking an EP3 wheel then find some JDM Honda Orthia Wagon Seats. They have a rear adjustable headrest i think they look pretty clean in a civic. Afterall the Orthia is a Civic wagon.
