just installed a camber kit (control arms) on a eg and now when i turn left the tire squeels, ive never had this happen before. seems more like a toe issue but it didnt do it before the camber kit install. I kinda bent up one of the little bars that you got to swap over from the stock uca that wouldnt cause it would it?

 

replace anything thats bent and get an alignment asap.

 

will the bar that i bent (the one that connects the uca to the frame) cause the tire to squeel like this or do i just need to get an alignment now? the bar is all mounted up correct.

 

did u do the camber kit urself? cuz i just bought one for my del sol and i wanna see if i can pput it together myself. do u know what tools i will need and is it hard work?

so you changed teh camber, but didnt get an alignment to correct the misalignment caused by changing camber?

OP: please get an alignment, your toe is thrown way off when installing a camber kit.

 

yeah, get an alignment. theyll probably tell you 100 bux give or take since its been "modified" and make sure you give them the adjustments you want, alot of shops are retarded and only do OE type stuff

 

1) put stock UCA's back on
2) get alignment
3) ??????????
4) Profit!
