H22 into EG Issues
Hello,
First post, mainly because I don't even own a Honda but my girlfriend does (EG, 1993) and she has done swap after swap into it.
She's done an H22 Swap out of a Prelude and done everything right.
Parts:
1) Ebay H22 Swap Mounts
2) GXP Axles
Here's the problem, the car runs (and idles just fine, etc) but whenever it comes to the drive train we have a pretty big issue.
Think about it like this, the IM Shaft connecting to the hub causes it to "hop"
Like this: 0 instead of * (imagine that being the way the axle is turning, an oval instead of an *
Basically instead of the axle rotating in place like it should, it tends to swing around like it's getting bound up.
I've raised the LCA up and it fixes the issue for the most part but I would assume the car being lowered wouldn't mess with the axles THAT much but being as I work on other cars and haven't been into the swaps I could be wrong.
Any help would be appreciated, tired of "trying" things.
EDIT: I noticed that the Axles have the tri-pod CV system instead of a normal one and I think this has something to do with it.
