I got a automatic 96 prelude si everything bone stock. I recently had the motor rebuilt and reinstalled everything the way it was myself. Drove it to a car wash station were the machine pulls you through the wash cycle had it in neutral and when to put it in drive after the wash was done it would grind. Had the workers there help push it out.

I can't put it in park or drive anymore every time I try it grinds but reverse doesn't grind at all but it doesn't move. I have to turn off the engine and then put in park. I can even push the car when it is in park.

I check the trans fluid, axels thinking it may of came loose also checked the shifter cable that attach to trans and it seems fine.

What do you guys think? Could it be that my transmission gave out on me but how can it be it drove just fine for so long.
