4x114.3 itr on del sol
im trying to way the cons of running the pre 96 itr suspension set up , all the good rims i find are 4x114.3 , i own a set of bbs rs's that are 4x114.3 right now my debate is ,how hard are the replacment part to find for this set up . has anyone done this conversion and was happy? i have used the search feature ,but it gave me no definative awnser . thansk in advance
hmotorsonline.com has them for around $300 with e-brake cables. I'm running it on my EG and have nothing bad to report. I can lock the tires up with just upgraded pads so there's plenty of braking power for my 2150lb car.
thanks man , i really think this si the set up im going to go with , but where cani fend relacment pads and rotors? or do i have to import from japan? thanks man
Pads are regular USDM Integra DC2 sized pads as are the rotors. You'll just have to get them redrilled to 4x114.3 from the 4x100.
I think someone said something about 92-96 Prelude Si (non VTEC) front rotors being the right size and the VTEC ones being an upgrade with the Prelude calipers. There's been plenty of discussion lately on the 4x114.3 conversion, replacement, and upgrade parts.
