Default Why is VTEC pressure switch not connected?

I traded my old car for a 91 EF with an ls/v and im learning about as i go along. The other day i noticed the vtec pressure switch isnt attached, in fact the plug is no where to be found. I did some research about bypassing it, but thats for the JDM motors that dont have pressure switches for some reason. But my head is a '99 B16 head, so any info would be great.

Wait, did i just answer my own question? The ecu is from a JDM motor and thus it never had a pressure switch and thats why its not hooked up on my motor? Im a genious! But seriously i would like to know what the deal is.

That would be correct. The jdm ecu's did not look for an input from a pressure switch. Like the person above me said I sure hope it's tuned and you're not running your ls/v off of d15 maps.

If its chipped they probably deleted the option for the Vtec Oil Press Switch. So even if it was a US ecu it wont look for it.
