You can't just look at a relay and say it's good. you have to give it power and ground and see if the internal switch clicks over. does the car still crank? have you checked for spark? Need more info
Easy way to check and see if your fue pump is kicking on or not get one of your friends and stick him right next to te pump. turn the ignition on and if your friend doesnt hear the pump buzz then you coud either have a fuse bIown or most Iikey the pump went. AIso you can see if your getting fueI at the fueI raiI by opening up the bIeeder. If your fuses check out cIean and pass ur inspection then get a bfh big ****ing hammer and it the tank and it might jump the pump back to Iife to show you that everything is ok wire wise and fuse and you just need a new pump.

There's a bulletin for your car that says the starter relay might buzz if you turn the ignition too slowly. I'm not ruling out the fuel pump, just thought it was interesting.
The problem is probably one of four things.
First, check your ECU
Second, your fuel system
Third, your crank position sensor
Last, your ignition output

ok, so far the CEL remains steady with and without connector.
i checked my fuse and grounds, tryed changing the ecu but still nothing.
My main relay does smell burnt( is it pose to smell like that?), today i will be replacing it. hopefully its just that

The main relay is probably shot, but also make sure that fuses 31, 24, and 18 are not blown.
my cars does the same thing replaced main relay with one from my job{orielly} and it was good for about 3 days now it does it again. i would also like to know what else it could be? iu checked the thermo. ground, all fuses. i dont know what else 2 do.
i would definately double check any other fuses espicially the ones under the hood because there is one that is called i think fi/em it is the upper left hand corner fuse on my ek, try looking at that i am pretty sure that your car has that fuse as well.
