Default Will P08 ECU work in JDM H22a Prelude?

Hey guys,

I'd like to know if P08 ECU will work in 95 JDM H22a Prelude (OBD1)?

BTW, I'm looking for N/A basemaps for this engine, if anyone has any..

Thanks in advance!

If the ecu is chipped with a basemap for the h22, yes it will work.
The p08 ecu does not have Intake Air Butterfly support built into it, so you will have to keep them open all of the time.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply!
How to keep them open all the time? (I'm using chrome), and btw will this decrease power?

You will manually need to remove the vacuum lines running to the iab system to keep them open all of the time. Concerning loosing power, you may loose 3 whp in the midrange or so...
