Plug For Power Lock Actuator Missing....Odd?
So I recently bought my EP and went to replace the passenger actuator thinking that it was faulty and get everything apart and realize there is only one plug instead of two. The smaller one on top is there but the larger plug for the bottom of the actuator is completely gone. There is some extra wiring in the door for the Polk tweeters and 6.5" speakers in the doors. Anyone ever seen this or have any insight on how to fix this?
You cant find the other end to the pigtail/harness at all? hmmm? odd! I know (atleast with Acura) you can't just buy the clip you have to buy the entire door wire harness. Sucks I know. If you can find the cut end to the harness that is suppost to go to that actuator I would suggest finding a junkyard car and cut/splicing a used one on to your current harness, as a new one can be expensive and a P-I-T-A.
Well I just looked at the wiring diagram at my shop as well as the actuator and realized that the second male end on the actuator doesn't even have metal prongs. So I believe that it only has one wire connection....I feel kind of dumb.
