Track Day Hauler for sale.. $1500.00 with Condor wheel chock!!
For sale is my 1991 Chevrolet Full Size G20 Conversion van transformed into a motorcycle hauler/cargo van. The van has 107,000 original miles with a clean and clear title, a clean carfax with no prior damage, and a fresh Pennsylvania inspection sticker. I purchased it a few years back from an elderly woman who had lost her husband, with the intention of hauling my track/race bike, and it has been awesome. It has NO rear seats, but the blue interior carpet is intact. (I used a rubber runner under the bike wheels) The G20 comes equipped with a FUEL INJECTED 350 for plenty of hauling power, air conditioning, power locks, power windows, and power steering. All windows are equipped with FUNCTIONING blinds for privacy/security. It has newer brakes and lines, battery, headlights, muffler, air filter, plugs, wires, cap and rotor, good tires, and I just had the transmission flushed by North Star Chevrolet before last season. I have never driven it in the winter or in snow because it gets stored when we aren't in track season (summer). I have yet to put more than 2000 miles per year on it. It has never needed an emissions check, therefore it has an 'exempt' sticker.
It does have the ABS disconnected because there was an issue with the module, and it has PLENTY of rust now showing. After all, it is 18 years old!
I installed a removable condor wheel chock (http://www.condor-lift.com/product.asp?ItemID=1003) which runs around $300.00 with shipping. This is included in the price if you are buying with the intention of hauling a bike. If not, I will remove it, and the price of the van will reflect the change. Also, DO NOT be turned off by the graphics and logos, they are all vinyl and easily removable... Not Painted.
This has been the ultimate track/race day vehicle!! Especially for those that don't want to part with their daily drivers (and good gas mileage) in order to buy a truck and trailer. This is cheaper than a trailer, cheap to insure, and cheap to operate. It easily swallowed my bike, gear, pit bike, generator, ez up, stands, etc. It has spent a lot of time at the local tracks including Beaverun, Nelson Ledges, Pocono, and Summit Point. It sure is nice to have a decent place to sleep instead of a tent (with a/c), and the bike is secure and sheltered from the elements during transport.
This is a clean example of an 18 year old van and should provide the next owner with years of service, whether for bike hauling or cargo utility. Even if you only drive it for a year, with the cash-for-clunkers program, it will be worth $4500.00 on a trade-in!! It starts every-time, all of the time, and I would not hesitate to pack my most prized possessions (wife and bike!) and drive it to the west coast. I hear Laguna Seca is nice this time of year!
I have many more pics, and even a video of the bike all loaded up, so if you're interested, email now!
$1500 or best offer with the chock, $1300 or best offer without.
Thanks for looking

I would buy if you weren't so goddang far haha. would make a nice work vehicle. wheres the rust and whatnot? haha.. and are those stickers removable? as much as i love what they stand for, it's still ricer-ish
vans rock for hauling bikes, and that one looks to be in very good shape for the year and mileage. good luck with the sale!
have you put it up on wera/nesba?

thats absolutely awsome! i would rock that all yr long even w/o the bikes...its already got curtains and everything! if i was anywhere remotely close i would buy this today!
Tons of immediate response from local Pittsburgh craigslist for general hauling and some good response from nesba too. Looks like it may be sold as soon as tomorrow morning. I just wanted to make sure that I could help out a fellow track addict.
Duh.. the stickers are SUPPOSED to be 'ricey'. I don't anyone thinking I'm driving this thing for real. HA HA HA!! It's been a blast, but it's still government motors.

That is an interesting way to haul a bike. If you finish a track day and want to get out in a hurry doesn't the hot bike make the inside of that thing a furnace and stink it up with fumes? Just curious.
(did this thing sell, or what?)
