clear coating PPG omni single stage paint?

Default clear coating PPG omni single stage paint?

i recently painted my integra with PPG omni single stage paint i got from my brothers shop. it came out pretty decent, but i want a little more... and was wondering if it is possible to scuff up my paint a little bit and spray clear over it?


the paint on my car is PPG omni, i think its an enamel paint. is there any clear i can lay on top of this paint? im a noobie when it comes to which paint what

If you sprayed the single stage enamel, I would not recommend shooting a clear over it. You may encounter lackluster results due to the urethane clear over the enamel. Two different paint systems usually do NOT mix well. Hope this helps.

ive had really good results spraying clear over single stage, but i dont use enamel single stage. the dupont single stage that ill occasionally use is a urethane. so spraying two good coats of clear over it has never given me problems during, or after.
