turbo piston question

Default turbo piston question

hey i was wondering if i got low compression pistons for a turbo build how long could i run them without the turbo attatched?

Won't hurt anything. you will just have less power. You will need a tune too....and again with turbo... thats gonna cost you. Why don't you wait and do it all at once?

yeah i figured the whole power loss thing. i just wasn't sure if its safe to run them without it. i am short on cash right now so i was goint to wait on the turbo for now until i get money. thank you for your answere

i havent decided on pistons yet. either wiseco forged of cp pistons. any suggestions
and eagle rods

between 9 and 10:1 seems common. I'm no expert, but what are you using the car for and what are your goals? Maybe that would help other people answer the question better.
