Default another new PB after attending the turboschool.com

not as fast as the other guys but it works for me. daily driven

92 eg
stock gsr
t3/67
10psi..........gauge reads 10 logs read 13.7
93 oct
stock open diff
22 inch slicks........... all i had

r/t: .554
60: 1.708
330: 5.123
1/8: 7.814
mph: 90.48
1000: 10.11
1/4: 12.035
mph: 116.74

then backed it up with

r/t: .008
60: 1.836
330: 5.242
1/8: 7.917
mph/: 92.58
1000: 10.179
1/4: 12.096
mph: 113.30

in my logs im seeing a mph going the the traps at 124-127. i know the tires are way too small but it gives me hope. the goal is to go 11.50s how it sits.

after the class I played with the tune a little bit. I learned about munipulating the tune to spool the turbo faster. then i moved some weight around and relaxed the chassis. the car pushed nicely now all by myself.

again thanks to Dan and Dave from the turboschool.com. miller for the small talk. rob from low budget for the driving tips. kevin from MB Racing for the manifold and anybody else i forgot.

UPDATE:

R/T :.578
60' :1.736
330 : 4.946
1/8 : 7.580
MPH :95.34
1000: 9.816
1/4: 11.732
MPH: 119.10

THANKS AGAIN TO NRGTECH AND THE TURBOSCHOOL.COM

congrads, interesting differences between the 2 passes (typo possibly?), you were .06 faster to the 1000' mark on the first pass vs. the 2nd but finished .26 faster on the 2nd..... thats a hell of alot of ground to make up in 320ft

We are planning on doing a live interactive class from the Indy location.

You may want to go ahead and down load ventrillo.

I'm sure the info from Dan and Dave is worth something to them, everybody always wants something for free these days!

I was thinking the same thing. Dan and Dave's experience is worth something. If their knowledge was that easily gained we would all know. I understand that all a lot of folks can't get away for things like this. I would thinking an online pay per view or ventrilo as Dan recommended is fair. The only problem with online pay per view is the upfront setup costs.

To OP - Nice change in the times.

i know that your trap speed is an estimated speed.... dont quote me but i think its 60ft at the end of the 1320 and your trap speed is an average speed across that 60ft.... so when you enter that first part of the end you are travelling at a lower speed than when you cross the finish line...just something to think about there...

i think your 22in slicks are killing you tho ... you are shifting 5th i take it right?

Whats wierd is how you were up 2mph in the 2nd @ the 1/8 but ended up being down 3mph at the finish..?

logs are always off from trap unless you have teh proper size slicks, however then its still laggy, what i mean is do a pull in 3rd and have a buddy watch your speedo and the laptop at the same time, the laptop will show the mph a second or so behind the speedo, so when you cross the line and lift the pedal the logs are just a little behind what you really hit. now i have only personally seen this in s300 and neptune not sure about other set ups.

my logs in Neptune were almost 10mph slow vs what the timeslip said going through the traps with 24.5's, with my 185/65/14's they were alot closer.

i thought about that after i talked to some people. also i never set my gear ratio in s300 either. im still getting used to it.

yea they are. it spun the whole track. i couldnt even read the tach, i just shifted when i heard the limiter. yea i shifted to 5th the first run on the second i shortrd 3rd and went thru the traps on the limiter in forth.

im going to get 24.5s and a retune before i go back.

thanks for all the replies
