No only works on s2000's

i was under the impression the key and immobilizer are connected i couldn't just stick another ECU into my s2000.

 

The immobilizer is in the ecu. Jdm, and most aftermarket ecus do not have this security feature.

 

so if i put this is my car and it doesnt work, do i get to mail it back to get a refund?
