Hi, I have already read everything i could find on CEL on ht, i have actually been reading on this site for years, i just never registered. anyway, on to my problem:

the car is a 90 civic dx sedan with a dohc jdm zc motor, and a 4 speed cable clutch trans. i looked at the light on the side of the ecu, and it flashed 10 times fast, and then 14 times fast. everything i could find said that it would if it were a code 14 for example, it would flash 4 times fast, and then 1 time slowly to make 14.

so what does this mean? i know 10 is IAT, and i think 14 was IAC, the car runs fine, and drives fine.

 

that would be code 41, o2 sensor?

 

10 quick blinks then a pause, then 14 quick blinks is a code 41? i dont see how that makes sense.

 

bump for assistance please, new to the older hondas and ive gotta get it inspected before i can drive her.

 

4 times fast= 40 + 1 time slow =41 , if in order of the 4 coming first, it would be 40 plus the one flash that equals one altogether equals 41. If it is 14, then just change out the iacv, and see if the cel comes back on.

 

nevermind, it was a code 10 and a code 14, and they were all fast blinks, idk whats up with that, but the connectors were switched on the IAC and the IAT, so its all good now, and i can get her inspected and enjoy my new ride. thanks everyone.
