Oh, they are very rare motors, they only came in 92 and 93 and I believe there were only a couple thousand made in the US. If you ever get one ppl usually tell you that it's the black sheep motor. It's hard to find one that someone doesn't have in a nice car or blown up.

Yeah well I had a stock 94 si hatch that I traded for a 91 crx hf with b17a1 and a ys1 lsd tranny with no grinds and the p61 ecu.

The car is in fairly decent shape and the motor is very strong. It feels faster than my last hf that had b16a2 with type r cams and was tuned.

I have one more question on the ecu are the pinout the same as a regulary obd-1 vtec computer?

Yes, everything is the same as it would be for a p30 because the b17's didn't have the butterflies in them. The only thing about the b17a1 is, it is a b16 stroked to a 1.7. very good motors, I hope you like your engine and would like to see pictures of it.

man that is nice, what are your plans for it?? like lowering and such?? That Yellow on the valve cover is nice, I would strip it down and repaint it that color to get the chips and everything straightened out.

Yeah I basically paid 600 bucks for the car. Im probably going to paint the valve cover black. It has eibach sportline springs with stock struts. I wanna do the kyb agx and nuespeed race spring setup again like I had on my old crx

very nice looking car and nice motor.

go with koni and ground control setup.

you would be happier

i had the agx's and eibach sportline springs, and it rode nice, but didnt handle all that great and the agx's lost their firmness after about 8 months

Yeah I loved my agx's I had them for 2 years and they never lost there stiffness.

I cant get this code 41 to go away I just went and bought a brand new o2 for the 92 gsr and still didnt fix it. I have shecked all the wires with a multimeter and thats what told me the 02 was bad. Are the pinouts on the p61 the same as the p30 and 28

Yeah its converted to obd-1 via rywire and all the wiring to the o2 is good. I checked the 02 with a multimeter before I replaced it and it was getting and bad reading not going into closed loop that is why I bought a new one
