i want to change my silver hatch to red =D well after i save up for all my ctr parts, which wont be that much. and would it be cheaper to ask them to make you an extra gallon of paint for you to paint your own engine bay or is it cheaper to tell them to paint it for you?

 

It's about 5,000 for a color change here in oregon. interior, bay, exterior, jams.
Or you can go to a cheap place.

You could do it yourself, get a compressor and everything you need then go to a junkyard and get a few panels to practice on, you can't beat that. There's also the option vinyl wrap, looks just like the car is painted, and if you change your mind again all you have to do is take it off.

Just because it's cheaper doesn't mean it's the wrong way, most of the cost of painting is labor. I have a buddy that paints his hatch a different color every 3 years and it comes out flawless each time. He started out by getting his own equipment and working on junk panels, just a thought.

He helped me paint my m-tech bumpers and they came out just as good as they would have if I took them somewhere. I realize you may not have the time, but it's just a thought.

 

imma do all the sanding outside and and gut all the tar out of the interior, basicly im going to sand the whole car, and weld the antenna hole and rear windshield wiper my self
