I have a 2003 Odyssey with 78K, and it has has an intermittant CEL. I retieved codes 0505 and 1129, issues with the IAC. I am planning to clean the throttle body and and IAC.

I have read several post on replacing the IAC and I found a Honda SB that recommends replacing the IAC with a newer (improved) unit P/N 16022-P8A-A02.

I priced this with my supplier at $150. Can anyone suggest other Honda parts suppliers?

Well, I removed and cleaned the throttle body, IAC and reinstalled. I found the air filter box only secured by two of the four bolts, and the clamp to the intake at the throttle body not tight. The throttle body did have a build up of residue around the down stream side of the baffle, and the IAC did not have more than minor deposits.

Once I reinstalled and test drove, no irregular idle or hesitation. I told the owner to drive the car and see if it faults again, then I will change the IAC per a SB I found on CEL 1129 an 0505.
