Koni shocks keep blowing..WTF..help!
Well here's the problem.
I tightened my struts to firm, and then loosened em to soft about a week later...but then after 2 days or so they gave out...now Im bouncing like a caddy.
This is the second pair I've bought, and the second time this has happened.
The first pair did the same thing.
what Give's...is it the struts?
is there another way of tightening them...?
I checked the koni site and it give instructions on how to adjust..only..is don't believe the instructions are for my particular model struts...

i was on GC/Koni's and so was a fellow friend of mine, both on EM2's (em2's and DC5 parts are interchangeable)
He went through 2 sets in 1 yr before going to Tein SS's and I went through BOTH front struts in 6 months before going to Tein SS-P's.
The weak part of the strut is the bottom. On the bottom of the strut, there is a bolt that can be tightened by an allen wrench. the thing is, it comes lose so dam often.

1) konis are only good for a 1.5 inch drop.....you are close to the killing hight....
2) did you install that little plastic peace under the bumpstop? If not, that why you are blowing them.
3) do you jump your car like the general lee? If so, please sell your car and move back to hazard county.
4) what bumpstops you running?
5) are you installing the top nut on konis with a air/electric impact wrench...if so, you should have read the directions. Impact guns distroy the guts of the damper.....
