D series and b series Distributor, help!!
I have a 92 cx hatch, with a d15b8, my friend has a B16a1(or 2) cannot remember, the dizzy in the hatch went out, and the b series dizzy looks identical, are they the same? can B series dizzy's be used on my d series? or am i way off base, bc i was under the impression b and D series didnt interchange.

well, if an LS will work , there are a couple here at my local PAP, so i was just hoping on someone here to save me some monies and give me a 100% haha. I will have to try it and see, and if it does? ill be sure as hell going to PAP tomorrow.
They dont work. I tried taking one from a D15 and put it on my B16 and the bolt holes didnt line up. Then I tried swapping just the internals and it wouldn't start. The shaft on the dizzy that goes into the cam shaft is in a different position on B and D series. So even though you can get it to bolt up with the internals and make spark, the timing will be totally off.
