Resistor box required? 1000cc low resistance injectors

I did a search and it looks like if i get low resistance RC injectors i won't need a resistor box correct. This will be going into a p72 obd1.

yes. you will if they are about 2.5-3 ohms

Ok thanks i guess ill be needing that box then. And can i hook up the box while the stock injectors are in the car till im ready for the new injectors?

TheShodan was kind enough to answer my question in case anyone else is interested you can not use the resistor box with the oem injectors. just a heads up
