Clock springs?
I got a set of KYB GR2s, and want to replace my stock shocks with them, and keep the OEM springs.
A while ago, someone told me when you do that, you have to clock the springs. Is that right, or do you just compress them, and put them on?
Sorry if this is a FAQ, but I searched and didn't find anything on it.

Though, the lower perch was shaped to capture the end of the spring on mine.
In general, at least one end needs to accommodate spring rotation, as the spring does twist under compression.
Ah ok, thats kinda what I thought. That they just spin in place.
I should have said its for a 93 Sol, but I think that covers it.
Thanks guys!!
(and I'll watch for the notch)
