If you'll read the manual or otherwise confirm the current draw requirements for your starting system you may find the lawn mower battery is a poor choice for starting your car. Most lawn tractor batteries are not sealed. Motorcycle and ATV batteries are, but they cost at least $60. Still, they have limited current output.

I was running one in my EG for a while to save weight...

The windows rolled up a little slower (pwr windows), but thats about it. You cant chill for very long with the car off listening to music or youll drain it fast. YOu also cant leave the lights on after the car is off for no more then 5-10 mins... Id say 20 max on the battery I had. So if you forget you left the lights on, prepare for a dead battery

Use a WHEELCHAIR battery. It's sealed and rechargeable. It is a U2 battery. I have had mine in for 8 months and haven't had any problems. I run an alarm and power door locks. The lights are strong even with the radio on, rear defrost and wipers on. No problems with starting either. I use 4 gauge wire from back to front and I grounded to BARE metal at the seatbelt hole in the back (Civic). HTH, Overkll

(I'll send some pictures to someone if they want to host them for me, my page isn't up yet

WHEELCHAIR battery=NF22 I think. The interstate redtops weigh 34-38 lbs.

I vote for Marine batteries because most are sealed. Batteries Plus has some kickass ones that only weigh about 30 lbs. and are around 8" x 6" x 8"

I am almost positive that I got it off a lawnmower. It weighs maybe 15 lbs.
