my a/c is not blowing out cold. it blows out like a fan.it was working fine till a couple of days ago. the compressor seems like its still working fine it turns on. i checked the pressure with a guage and its seems like its in the right range........I was told it could be the silver can type thing which makes the cold might be bad. .......any help? ....and i did a search no luck....any advice?

 

had a problem like that a while back in my civic.. in my case there was some type of senor thing inside the heater box i think that had to be replaced.

take your car anywhere that does AC re charging. thats probably all it is, sounds like its out of freeon.. most places wont charge you if the recharge dosent work for whatever reason, and can maybe diagnose the problem from there. I know thats how the shop i work at does it. This could be a either a cheap solution or a free option to X off the list of possiblities that could be wrong

my integ is doing the samething. it doesnt get too cold but its still not enough on a hot day. when its a hot day its a different story. it blows hot air with ac and theres a 2nd rev sound coming from the compressor. im gonna get it checked but im looking for an AC shop. acura dealers charge too much
