i've never got a chance to buy body parts for any of my cars. when buying parts for my car, i'm really into buying oem parts from the dealer. but after comparing prices on body parts, it's night and day differences.
so...what do you all think of aftermarket body parts?

IMO
Optional OEM > Aftermarket
Some aftermarket parts are okay, but there's a line to be crossed and then it becomes riced out. Of course, some things are mandatory aftermarket purchases. Like suspension, for example.

yeah these are not the shark fins type or wide body. they look very similar to the oem ones, and are a hundred dollars difference.
are you talking about replacement aftermarket parts? if so, i've had pretty good experiences with hoods, fenders, headlights and many other parts...but i have heard stories of a lot of these parts not fitting well with the oem parts, leaving gaps or not sitting flush...it's just a matter of chance

Have a question guys,
I might have to paint my aftermarket fenders and bumper. I really wanted oem off of somebody's car but it is so hard to find. I have a question about those fender and bumper screws. Does those body shops provide that for you, or you have to order one? How do they work this out?

usually 7 times out of 10 you get solid fitting aftermarket parts, just depends on the brand of the aftermarket part you use, i have an aftermarket front bumper on my car, and while the finish of it isnt as good as OEM, it fits fine, now ive also had a different brand aftermarket front bumper that was molded wrong, and the plastic cracked very easily, so really it just depends. Nothing fits like OEM but when price is a factor, aftermarket certainly wont cause you any issues.
