Default Aftermarket body parts vs. OEM

i've never got a chance to buy body parts for any of my cars. when buying parts for my car, i'm really into buying oem parts from the dealer. but after comparing prices on body parts, it's night and day differences.

so...what do you all think of aftermarket body parts?

it all depends on what your buying?
i have a ebay front bumper and hood and core support, bumper fits really good, hood isnt perfect but thats due to the crappy core support.

Its really hit or miss IMO. Honda genunie are so damn expensive, but that price can be worth it when the keystone hood you just bought is about an inch too short in the front.

Its a gamble.

I look for OEM parts from junk yards. If you check http://car-part.com, you can do a search for any body part you want for any car and sort the results by yards that are nearest to you. You may have to drive a couple of hours, but you'll save big $$ on OEM body parts that *can* be in great condition. I got my replacement WHITE hood, WHITE front fender, and Integra brake booster and master cylinder this way...the furthest I had to drive was for the hood...about 3 hours. The rest was local. And the best part was I didn't have fitment problems nor did I have to repaint.
