Has anybody had any experience of installing MSD 6AL II on F23A engine.?
What type of external ignition coil most suitable to replace the original one.?

Causes more problems than it solves in Hondas in general. I suggest you search around on Honda-Tech for review threads.

 

Thanks for the advice. Are there any other solutions or gadgets to improve the ignition performance.? The idea is just to get better kicks on the engine without too much mods; and hopefully a better mileage on the side......

 

Eh, I mean are you actually experiencing any trouble with it? A good maintenance weekend has the potential to solve a lot.

Cleaning EGR gunk, seafoaming, air filter, oil, tranny fluid, spark plugs/wires, new belts, would be incredibly helpful.

Some people swear by the grounding kits smoothing out the motor and what not, but it's debatable.

also unless you have a FI or all motor built motor, is when youll benefit from the ignition system.

 

Actually there's no problem with the ignition; but just want to do a little improvement with it. All the routines you mentioned above are done regularly.
And yes; I was thinking of putting a grounding kits this weekend.
